The spring is a powerful and intense season here, just south of the polar circle in northern Sweden. The ice has to let go first, and snow has to melt. We call this part the winter-spring. After that everything happens fast. Buds open and leaves take shape. A hundred shades of green and lots of bird and wildlife activity are the highlights. In spring, our guided tours revolve around this burst of life: guided walks in the forest landscape.
Summer in northern Scandinavia and Lapland means days with no end in sight (literally, the sun doesn’t set) and plenty of hours for outdoor activities.
