With the king of the Forest in sight

Have you ever seen a moose in the wild?
On a moose safari you can explore the forest together with an experienced nature guide. We take the minibus to search for moose tracks in potential feeding areas and with a bit of luck we will meet the ‘king of the forest’ himself – a fantastic experience! Halfway, we enjoy a ’fika’ snack pause while the guide tells us more about the moose’s life and ecology.

• Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to be athletic or have any former experience. But please let us know if you should have any relevant medical conditions we should know about.
• When do we meet?Already paid online? Then just come to the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour begins. Otherwise plan in some extra time to pay at the Lodge.

• Late arrival:please make sure to arrive on time to avoid missing the tour. Other guests also take part in your tour or any tours scheduled afterwards so we can usually not wait for late guests which means that you can lose your space without refund. So, in case you run late, please call us as soon as possible so we can try to solve the situation.
• What should I wear?Please dress according to the weather, but in general we recommend (hiking) boots, long trousers, a long-sleeve shirt or jumper and a warm jumper or jacket for when it gets cooler at night.
  
  
• Nice to have:Bring binoculars, camera, a water bottle and mosquito repellent. You can get a fantastic all-natural mosquito repellent in our lodge shop. Ask for ‘Nordic Summer’
