This tour is one of our shorter tours and it is suitable for anyone who wants to try to drive your own dog team supervised by a guide. You don’t need to have any prior experience of dog sledding or be in great shape to do this tour. It’s a perfect tour for everyone from seniors to families with children.

At the kennel you are welcomed by our guide and if needed you put on warm outdoor clothes and gear to borrow. You meet the dogs and get a detailed description of how to handle the dog sled. You help to get the dogs ready. During the tour you drive in pairs – one is a passenger and one controls the sled. Halfway through the tour you have the possibility to change.

Dress warmly for your dog sledding tour. Winter clothing is also available for borrowing and included in the price.

  • The minimum age to drive a dog sled on your own is 15 years or a minimum height of 160 centimeters. You must weigh at least 50 kilograms.
  • Due to safety risks, we do not allow pregnant individuals or children under 3 years of age to participate in the tour.
  • When it’s extremely cold, we have a cold limit for children up to 12 years at -20 degrees. Therefore, we do not allow children to participate in the tour under those conditions.
