Nature is at the core. We are located in the forest by the Ume river, a natural meeting spot between the lovely northern Sweden towns of Umeå, Lycksele and Skellefteå.

Lunch outside
This is time efficient and wonderful any time of year. Our chefs bring the ingredients outside and prepare your lunch – for example the sami speciality souvas – outside over and open fire for your group.
Sauna and hot tub by the river
Wood burning sauna (for up to 8 people at the time) and an outdoor hot tub is a fantastic activity all year. Combines well with a cold plunge in the river or a roll in the snow!
Pentathlon at Husky house
In Granö village you'll find the kennel Husky house and a fun pentathlon activity themed around the husky dogs. Just about an hour in total, it combines well with a walk and an outdoor lunch or snack.

Adventurous Winter Activities
A frozen river and snow covered forests will draw most corporate groups away from their desks for a little while. Let nature inspire new ideas and stronger interrelations. We have warm winter clothing for rent if needed.
Dogsledding – a thrilling experience
Enjoy flying across the snow in a dogsled. In this activity you learn how to control the sled and alternate between two people per sled. Great activity for up to 8 people, and combines well with other activities if your group is larger.
Snowmobile – guided action
Two people share a snowmobile and follow a guide along on the river and in the forest. Ice fishing and an outdoor snack around the fire combines well with this. Up to 8 guests per tour, and easy to combine with other activities if your group is larger.
Snowshoeing – a genuine nature experience
We can guide up to 25 people on snowshoes. We take you out into the untouched snow deep into the forest. Perfect with a coffee break around an outdoor fire in the snow.
Ski Tour – a Scandinavian classic
A stone's throw from Granö Beckasin is a small ski factory, where the wooden touring ski Tegsnässkidan is made. Perfect for any level of skiing experience. Our guide can take up to 15 guests into the snow covered forest on skis. Combines beautifully with a coffee break around the fire.

Husky walk and kennel visit
Together with Spruce Island Husky in our village, we can offer a number of husky dog related activities. A guided walk with a dog per person is a well liked experience for up to 20 people. A tour of the kennel, with personal stories from the owners, is another.

Inspiring Green Season Activities
Spring, summer and autumn offer a long list of opportunities to experience nature. Whether your group is after adrenaline or stillness, we have options for you. In May, June and July you have the added magic of the midnight light.
Dogsledding on wheels – a thrilling tour
Perfect adventure for groups of up to 6 people, or combine with other activities. Two people share a dogsled on wheels, captained by a guide, on a forest ride with a snack stop.
The Forest Garden – an educational hike
A 2 hour hike through the subarctic forest. Our experienced guide shares knowledge of plants and how they have been used medicinally and for cooking over time. Coffee or outdoor lunch combines well with this activity, suitable for small and large groups.
Talking Trees – a hike for the senses
Guided hike for groups with and interest in nature and the forest. This tour is filled with storis about the secret lives of the trees, guided by a forest ecologist.
Canoe Tour – meditative tour on the river
Guided tour on the Ume River for up to 15 people at the time. Can be customised with technique course, and is fantastic as a midnight light night tour in May–July.
Timber Rafting – a full day of teambuilding
Assisted by a guide, up to 12 people can build a traditional timber raft. After this you take off on the slow running river. Building takes about 3 hours, travelling about 6–8 hours. Plenty of time for a casual meeting, in other words, while quietly gliding through the landscape. Option to use a ready-made raft and shorten the time.
Adventures with or without guide
Your group can rent kayaks, canoes, SUP, mountain bikes, tandem bikes, regular bikes, snowshoes, skis and much more. You can choose to self-guide or hire us to help navigate/educate.
