Granö, our village, is situated about an hour from Umeå in the inland of northern Sweden. Further northwest are the vast mountains of Lapland, and nearby are several small towns. Our area has been a natural meeting spot for centuries.

Here, by the river banks of Umeälven, you’ll find everything you need for a successful, inspiring and unusual meeting. Wether your group is looking for some quiet, simple time in nature or in need of action filled team building activities, we will make sure that your arrangement is a memorable experience.

People from all over the world have enjoyed conferences and meetings here. We offer personal attention, wilderness and a slice of the real Scandinavian north.

You find us about an hour by car northwest of Umeå, and about the same distance from Lycksele. From Skellefteå it’s 1,5 hours. The nearest train station is Vindeln, and the closest bigger airport is Umeå Airport.

Groups of up to 12 love our unique Glass House, perched on the top of a hill overlooking the trees and the river. Let your creativity flow with the birds as your only witnesses.

We are a hub for outdoor activities all year. Our experienced guides and outdoor experts are ready to take you out into nature for experiences or team building activities. How about a dog sledding tour, a snow mobile safari, wood burning sauna with a plunge in the river, a canoeing tour or letting your team build a timber raft?

Granö Beckasin is a unique venue situated on the river banks of Umeälven, about 1 hour northwest of Umeå in northern Sweden. We originally started our business in order to save the local school from closing, and our purpose is still to work sustainably for our local area to thrive and grow.
