Northern Lights Package

Northern Lights Package

Check in with us and let our guide take you out into the night to see the Aurora Borealis dance across the sky.

At Granö Beckasin, your chances are good to see this mighty celestial performance. We are close to the polar circle, far away from the light pollution of the cities, and we also enjoy beautiful calm waters that reflect the colours of the night in a fantastic way. Our experienced guide will guide you safely through the dark and take you to the best places for viewing. In addition, you will learn how to capture this amazing phenomena on camera.

Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, is a celestial phenomena that occurs when charged particles from the solar wind are caught by the magnetic fields of the earth and pulled at great speed towards the poles. It is collisions between these particles, atoms and molecules that transform energy into visible light. Until 2025 we are moving towards a peak of extra high solar activity. This means your chances this season to see the Northern Lights are maybe better than ever. Our package includes two nights. We will schedule your night tour on the evening with the greatest chance to see Aurora Borealis. Please note that there is never a guarantee that it will appear.
