Timber Log Rafting

Build your own timber log raft and experience Swedish Lapland from the still waters of Ume River. Bring your family or friends to this little adventure. Together you’ll tie logs together using traditional techniques with rope and knots. Once the raft is on the river, a gentle journey downstream begins. You can choose to go for just a day or up to a week.

This activity is a wonderful way of seeing the untouched nature and being in the middle of birdsong and wildlife on one of the mighty natural rivers of northern Sweden. Don’t worry, there are no waterfalls or rapids. Just a gentle stream carrying your raft down river. You can choose to do a journey for just a day, or how about a two day journey with an overnight stay in a flying tent? Our longest package is an 8 day adventure on the raft.
