Herbal Walk

Feel, taste and discover. On this guided forest tour we forage and learn about interesting plants and tree fungi that can be used as food and/or medicine.

The forest has a lot to offer once you know what to look for. Healing plants have a long local tradition as folk medicine. After this tour you will know how to treat a common cold, why moose love eating meadow sweet and how fantastic lingonberries are for your health.

Start times: 10 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 3 pm

Our experienced nature guide take you out into the forest. You will learn about ancient traditions, crafts, recipes and cures. The walk is a slow, peaceful hike that helps you relax and escape every day life.

The tour is 2 hours. It begins and ends at the reception at Granö Beckasin.

This tour is suitable for adults and older children/teens who have an interest in nature. You don’t need any previous experience. You need to be ready to hike on trails in the forest.
