Adventures in Northern Sweden

Winter Magic Weekend

Winter Magic Weekend

Longing to spend time in the snow clad wilderness of Northern Sweden? This is the perfect taster package for you. You’ll get a full Lapland experience and access to unspoilt nature for a couple of days. Add more adventures or just relax.

This package starts with an introduction to the wilderness, and a go-through of the equipment and knowledge you need to enjoy the outdoors in wintertime. Snowshoes and locally made wooden skis can be used as you wish throughout your stay. If you wish, our experienced guides will take you on a nighttime adventure in search of Aurora Borealis or a thrilling dog sledding tour. Welcome to a few days of real winter, frosty adventures and warm fires.

Included

  • 2 nights in a hotel cabin, hotel room or Bird’s Nest
  • Daily breakfast
  • 3 course dinner every night
  • Daily lunch
  • Introduction to the Wilderness (go-through with our guide)
  • Access to snowshoes and wood touring skis throughout your stay

  • The package includes “Introduction to the Wilderness” which is a brief go-through of equipment, rights and obligations in nature and basic wintertime survival skills
  • You need to pack base layer, mid layer and warm padded and windproof winter clothing (such as ski clothing). You also need winter boots, hat, gloves, scarf and if it’s really cold a ski mask or similar face mask.
  • You can rent winter clothing from us at SEK 500/stay. This includes a warm winter jacket, padded pants, hat, gloves and winter boots. Sizes are adults S–XXXL and shoes 37–48. For children you must bring your own gear. Reserve rentals when you book your stay, please.
  • For the snowshoes and skis we use regular winter boots (now specialty boots needed)
  • You have access to snowshoes and skis throughout your stay, if available. This is usually not an issue, but on occasion we have large groups using all equipment for a few hours. Therefore you’ll need to plan your use of the equipment along with our staff upon arrival.
