A week of Lapland winter with extra everything

The Great Winter Adventure

The Great Winter Adventure

This is the perfect package if you want to experience a solid subarctic winter and almost a full week loaded with adventurous activities. Try driving a snow mobile and a dog sled pulled by huskies. See the Aurora Borealis and learn how to photograph the magic. Try ice fishing and if you dare, wild swimming in an ice wake. Learn about reindeer herding from the indigenous Sami people.

In our Great Winter Adventure, you get to dive deep into the northern Swedish winter lifestyle, culture and history. For a week you get to partake in adventures, but there’s also time to relax get grounded. In addition, your chances of hitting the right activity on the right day, such as the Aurora Borealis, are greater when you stay a little longer.

Based out of Granö Beckasin, we take you out into the wilderness, to the frozen river and the deep forests. Our skilled guides will teach you everything from building a fire on the ice, to tracking wild game and handling a dog sled like a musher on your own. You will gain knowledge and memories for life. All our tours are small scale, with local sustainability and growth as the primary focus.

This package is perfect if you are looking for a complete Lapland winter experience. Crisp snow, starry nights, dancing northern lights, ancient traditions, weathered cheeks, sweaty sauna moments and crazy ice water dips. We cannot wait to guide you through this unique once-in-a-lifetime stay.

Booking Terms and Conditions

1) Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Only

General
Unless otherwise agreed, the following rules apply.

Booking and Confirmation
A booking is binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking number. This may occur verbally, in writing, or via our booking system. When booking, you must provide your name, address, arrival and departure time, and method of payment. Different rules apply to different price categories—see detailed price information.

To book a room at Granö Beckasin, for yourself or another person, you must be at least 18 years old. If you book a room for a minor and do not stay at the property yourself, the minor must present a signed consent form from a legal guardian upon arrival. The consent confirms that the guardian approves the minor’s stay and assumes responsibility for the minor and their actions. The person who made the booking, or alternatively the guardian who also stays at the hotel, is responsible for the minor even if staying in separate rooms.

Arrival and Departure
Your room is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must vacate the room no later than 11:00. The room is reserved for arrival until 18:00. If you expect to arrive later, you must notify reception. Written notice of late arrival must be confirmed in writing by the hotel to be valid.

Cancellation and No-Shows
Cancellations must be made no later than 15:00 local time on the day of arrival unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking.
If you fail to cancel or cancel after 15:00, you must pay for the first night. If the hotel has incurred specific costs due to your booking, you may be required to compensate for these.

Granö Beckasin’s Obligations and Your Requests
If Granö Beckasin cannot provide the room as agreed, the guest is entitled to receive a comparable or better room within Granö Beckasin at no additional cost. If this is not possible, a room of similar standard at another hotel will be provided (the new accommodation does not need to be of the same type, e.g., a treehouse).
Please specify your requests at the time of booking to ensure the hotel can prepare accordingly.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms. Pets are welcome in cabins and selected Bird’s Nest rooms. A surcharge of SEK 500 applies, and you must notify staff at the time of booking. Violations of the smoking ban or bringing an unregistered pet will result in a sanitation fee of SEK 3,000. Guests must report and compensate for any damage to rooms, cabins, or furnishings belonging to Granö Beckasin.

Payment
Some price categories require advance payment; otherwise, payment is made during your stay. We prefer payment by debit or credit card. We accept common card types but are not obliged to accept specific cards, checks, vouchers, or foreign currency unless previously agreed. You may also pay online by logging in at granobeckasin.com/en/my-booking/

Storage of Valuables and Luggage
The hotel can store your luggage but assumes no responsibility for it. The hotel is not obliged to store items of high value. The hotel has no strict liability for belongings kept in guest rooms. Loss of a key must be compensated by the guest. According to law, the hotel may hold luggage as security for a guest’s outstanding payments and, under certain conditions, sell it.

Your Personal Safety
Always locate emergency exits, alarms, and fire extinguishers. Review the information posted on the inside of your hotel room door.

2) Terms for Packages (Accommodation Plus Meals/Activities) or Package-Like Arrangements for Private Guests
